Page 12: Joseph and the young boy are walking across a long bridge-like structure. In the background, multiple skyscrapers can be seen around them. The young boy asks "And when has she ever been wrong?" Joseph replies "Well, she says that people used to get charged like, a gazillion dollars in America to go to the doctor, so I think she's making stuff up."
Page 13: Both Joseph and the boy are facing a circular tunnel with a light at the end. The young boy says "I dunno. I heard that America is like, weird." Joseph says "You can believe that, I guess," before grabbing the young boy's hand and racing into the tunnel, saying "Come on, we're going to be late!"
Page 14: Once the two step in, Joseph is extremely shocked to see someone getting beaten up. The victim is a long-haired ginger person with a yellow sweater. The primary attacker is a teenage boy with half-shaved brown hair, a scar on his cheek, and an orange shirt with ripped sleeves. One of his fists is covered in fire and is in position to punch the victim while he holds him against the wall with his other hand. The secondary attacker is a tall girl with blue hair, a blue sweater, and a pink skirt. Her face is obscured, and the back of her sweater has an image of an eye. A phone is floating next to her, presumably recording the ordeal.
Page 15: The young boy shouts out, "Hey! What are you doing to him?" The primary attacker is shocked for a moment before he grins and says "Oh, a little hero decided to show up?" The secondary attacker is seen with pink eyes and a tired facial expression. She says "Lay off him. He looks like a little kid." The phone is still levitating next to her.
Page 16: Angered, the young boy says "I'm not that little" before Joseph grabs him by the shoulder, visibly nervous, and says "Come on, you shouldn't be messing with these guys." That doesn't stop the young boy, as he proceeds to yell out "I'm not afraid of you, you know!" The primary attacker says "Get lost. You're not worth my time." Joseph adds on by saying "I know you like trying to help, but this is a bit much, you know?"
Page 17: The young boy stares blankly before closing his eyes and shrugging. He grabs Joseph's hand and begins to walk away from the scene, leaving the victim, with tears in his eyes, to fend for himself. The primary attacker looks visibly pleased at the two boys' departure. As Joseph and the young boy are walking away, the young boy suddenly pulls out a wallet, making Joseph burst out into nervous sweating.
Page 18: The young boy pulls a photo out of the wallet. On one side, an image of a light brunette woman and a younger version of the primary attacker are standing together. The image is flipped over to reveal two dates, those being June 8th, 2018, through September 1st, 2045. While Joseph looks like a nervous mess, the young boy turns around and asks "Who's this?" while directing the photograph to the primary attacker, who directs his attention towards them again.
Page 19: The primary attacker approaches the young boy and says "Give me that back." The young boy returns "Only if you tell me who it is." While the secondary attacker and the victim are seen in the background, with the victim no longer behind held down, the primary attacker says "It's my aunt, okay?" The young boy asks, "Oh, were you two close?"
Page 20: The primary attacker holds up a fist full of fire and says "That's none of your business, little man." The young boy shoots back with an empty expression "I'm really happy she's dead. I imagine she'd be really depressed if she saw you like this."
Page 21: Enraged, the primary attacker punches the young boy in the chest with his fist full of fire. It's hard enough that blood and a tooth fly out of the boy's mouth as the young boy falls back, eyes wide.
Page 22: Red and pink flowers surround a casket. Above the casket is a photo of the young boy held up on a stand. He's smiling and in a yellow t-shirt with an alien graphic on the front. The narration states, "And that's how I died." Joseph is seen crying intensely with an open mouth. The narration continues, "It's kind of lame to die before you can even introduce your name."
Page 23: The young boy's grandma is seen standing in the kitchen, the lights dim. She's holding a news roll in one of her hands. The news roll shows the same article that the two boys were discussing previously. As the page fades into black, the narration finishes "That'd probably make me a side character in somebody else's story, but sometimes things align just right."
