Page 1: The boy wakes up slowly in a dark room, seated upon a steel operating table and surrounded by people in white labratory coats. While he looks around in confusion, they all appear quite pleased at his awakening.

Page 2: "Oh sweet pea, you're finally awake!" his grandmother calls out, shoving through two of the scientists to see the boy. She seems ecstatic that he's alive while the scientists around her appear slightly disgruntled.

Page 3: The boy sits up. "Where am I?" he asks, eyes tired. "You're in one of GigaByte's facilities," his grandmother answers. "They brought you back!" She is joyous when revealing such information to the boy. The boy looks at her in shock for a moment, before biting his bottom lip and beginning to tear up in both eyes.

Page 4: "I promise I'll be good now! I'll stay out of trouble, and when I get home-" the boy starts to say, now in his grandmother's arms and clinging the sleeves of her shirt. He is curled up tightly against her while she hugs him back in peace. "You won't be going home," a new voice says. The boy's eyes widen as he grips onto his grandmother more tightly. In front of him is a man wearing a similar lab coat as the others, with light blue accents, a pink undershirt, and a dark pink tie. He has a wide smile on his face. He wears square glasses for his dark pink eyes, and he has long, purple-black hair. His arms are crossed as he continues to speak. "That was the deal involved in this experiment. We bring you back to life for free, instead of charging your grandmother. In exchange, you act as a subject for our new research."

Page 5: The boy looks up at his grandmother in shock. In return, she looks away, ashamed of the situation. "So I don't get to go home?" he asks. "No, dear," she answers. "Then what's the point of all of this?" he continues to ask. The new man watches the two as they converse.

Page 6: "I just wanted you to have a shot at life," she begins to explain, placing a hand upon her chest and keeping her gaze away from the young boy. An image of the boy standing on the ground and looking up into the sky is shown, but beneath the boy in the dirt, a skeleton about his size lays. "Even if it's not with us, it's still something. You'll be able to live a different story than what was originally planned instead of rotting underground," she continues explaining. The boy looks frustrated. "But I don't want to live a new story! I want to go home!"

Page 7: His grandmother places her hand on his cheek as he starts crying. "I understand, dear. But it's for the best," she says. "He'll be going soon. Say your goodbyes," the new man says, holding a clipboard in his hands and appearing quite pleased despite the scene. "But I don't want to go!" the boy says in protest.

Page 8: His grandmother puts on a gentle smile. "Promise you'll be a good boy, okay? No more mischief," she says. "I, I promise I'll be a good boy, just for you," he replies. "And can you remember one thing for me?" she asks. "What?" he asks back.

Page 9: She holds her hands close together and looks down on the boy. "I love you. And even if you can't see us, you'll always have family and friends that love you."
