Page 1: "It's the last scheduled dose, everybody!" Dr. Rose announces, grinning while Dr. Goldflower approaches a scared Five with a syringe. While Five tries to step back, he exclaims "No!"
Page 2: Dr. Rose stands behind him and flashes Five a smile. Dr. Rose then pins Five to the ground, leaving Five's arm outstretched.
Page 3: Some time has passed. Five and Four are laying on the floor together, heads facing each other, while the atmosphere is fairly gloomy. "Can I say something that might sound messed up?" Four asks. "Go ahead," Five responds.
Page 4: "I hope we both die tonight. I don't want to be alone. And I think One deserves it. He's nice," Four says, looking down at herself sadly before One is shown, facing the wall and sitting upright. Five rolls over so he can look at Four. "You remind me of Joseph," Five says.
Page 5: "Joseph?" Four asks, sitting upright. "He was my best friend before I died," Five responds. Joseph is shown in what is alluded to be a flashback. He stands in front of a city street on a warm day, smiling, one of his arms stretched out and his fingers in the shape of a V. "He has green dragon wings and was trying to learn how to fly," Five says.
Page 6: Joseph and Five are shown in a sunny backyard, fenced off from the trees. Flowers are blooming. Fireworks are wrapped around Joseph. Five is holding the ends of the firework strings with a match in his hand, about to light them. The boys are both smiling. "And we would always get into trouble together. I think you would like him. I think all three of us could be good friends together. We could all play astronauts." Five is shown in the actual room again, still laying on the floor, appearing solemn. "He liked to be the alien," Five says.
Page 7: "Joseph sounds really cool. I bet you miss him a lot," Four says. "I really do," Five replies.
