Page 1: The children begin enacting an escape plan. They're all seen sitting on each other's shoulders, with Three at the top, to reach the vent on the ceiling. Three undoes the vent's hatch, crawls in, and begins pulling One up, with the rest implied to follow.
Page 2: All of the children are in the vent, with Four beginning to crawl through the opening. Five looks to One, who is sitting against the walls of the vent right next to him. "How does it look?" Five asks. One looks away and begins to squint. "It's a bit hard to distinguish... but it looks like there's an exit to this vent right near the entrance!" he says. A visual of what he sees is shown, which is simply a collection of bright broken up lines in a black void to insinuate edges.
Page 3: One takes the lead as the children begin to crawl through the vent. Though, they eventually come across a set of bars keeping them from progressing further. "Outta the way!" Three says, pushing against One to get to the front of the line. He grabs the bars and is able to bend them apart with magic, enough so that the other children are able to squeeze through.
Page 4: Five leads Four through the opening in the bars while One watches with a face of relief, though still evidently somewhat nervous. "Five, this was a great idea!" Four says one the group starts crawling again. "I think once you get out you can become the prime minister or something," she also says, imagining Five in a suit.
Page 5: "Or at least, one of those big CEOs," she continues to say. "Haha! I think I would rather become an astronaut. CEOs and prime ministers are boring," Five says in response as they crawl. "Hmm, of course. Then you shall be Commander Five!" Four says in excitement.
Page 6: "And you shall be my second in command. Hmm, I dub you Junior Commander Four," Five responds with a cheeky expression. "Guys?" Three says, stopping and looking down, entirely dejected. One stays behind him, his overt nervousness coming back, while Klepto responds with "huh?" Three turns around to face the other kids, his eyes much heavier. He says, "I'm starting to feel really tired."
