Page 1: The young boy is standing in front of one of the walls, the background blue and covered in clouds. "So does anybody remember their name?" the young boy asks. "Doesn't seem like it," a boy with sleek gray hair and blue eyes answers, his arms crossed. "Maybe we should refer to each other with numbers, then," the white-haired boy suggests.
Page 2: "That's stupid!" the gray haired boy proclaims, grabbing the white haired boy by the shoulders and making him visibly uncomfortable. The young boy begins to speak, "Well, what else are we gonna do? Maybe it's just a temporary thing while this weird chemical stuff messes with our brains. We shouldn't come up with any new names to get attached to until we know for sure what's going on."
Page 3: "I really wish they'd explain anything! All of this stuff is so confusing, and I'm scared!" the blond-haired boy says, arms pressed against each other as he looks away from the young boy. "It'll be fine, after all the stuff is over, I'm sure it won't be so hard anymore," the boy says. "So what numbers should we do?" the girl asks, cheery-eyed.
Page 4: The young boy begins to list numbers for each child. "You'll be One," he says to the white-haired boy, looking up with anxiety. "You'll be Two," he says to the blond-haired boy, his lavender eyes droopy and his face holding a tired smile. "You'll be Three," he says to the gray-haired boy, who still appears mildly displeased. "You'll be Four," he says to the girl, visibly content.
Page 5: "And I'll be Five!" the young boy says. While the other children are listening to him, he continues to speak. "Next time Doctor Rose comes around, I'll ask him about everything that doesn't make sense, like the memory loss and what happens to kids who can't take the medicine!"
Page 6: One looks at him fondly, hands clasped together. "Thank you for taking initiative, Five," he says. "It's only natural!" Five replies with a thumbs up. Later in the night, the kids all go to sleep. Five is resting beside Two in bright blue sleeping bags on the floor of the colorful holding room.
Page 7: Five wakes up with a start, suddenly frightened by the image of Joseph in his dreams. He lurches forward with wide eyes and his hospital gown slightly askew.
Page 8: "What the hell, man?" Three asks after waking up, rubbing the side of his face. One and Four also woke up, with Four appearing mildly annoyed and One holding his sleeping bag up to his chin. His hair is down, and his white hair flows down midway to his back. Five appears remorseful for waking the others up. "I'm surprised Two managed to sleep through that," Three says. "Mm, maybe it's the medicine. Doctor Rose said it'd be harder to wake them up," Four replies.
Page 9: Three goes over to Two and begins to shake him in an attempt to awake him. Though, no matter how hard he shakes Two, the boy stays asleep. He remains puzzled while One and Four chat behind him. "Should we call for one of the doctors?" One asks. "It'd be better if we did it in the morning," Four answers.
Page 10: Five approaches Two. He lays his head on Two's chest as the boy lays motionless. There is no response. Upon realizing there is no heartbeat, Five grabs onto Two as he becomes overwhelmed with shock. The reality of the situation is laid upon him all at once.
